Joella Viscusi, President, has over 28 years of experience in the hazardous materials and environmental risk management industry.  Joella actively manages projects involving diverse environmental issues.  She manages a vast network of industry contacts providing clients with the most advantageous solution to their environmental concerns.  Her expertise includes overall project management, client relations, cost estimating, providing AHERA and NYS DOL hazardous materials inspections and preparation of final reports in compliance with record keeping requirements per state, federal and local regulations, preparation and development of management plans, project design specifications and drawings and site specific variance development and applications for alternate abatement work procedures.

Joella has conducted a variety of asbestos, lead and hazardous materials projects throughout the Northeast for private, commercial, and governmental clients.  She has developed and managed hazardous material building inspections and environmental monitoring strategies in accordance with state, federal and local regulations on a wide variety of projects.  Joella is very well versed in the interpretation of NYS, AHERA, OSHA, NESHAP and ASHARA asbestos regulations, and is recognized as an industry leader in hazardous materials project design and site-specific variance preparation.

CD Wolford, Operations Lead, has over ten years of experience in asbestos remediation projects and hazardous materials, bringing strong interpersonal and organizational skills to every project.  This skillset enables him to work collaboratively with building owners and contractors leading to successful projects that are completed on schedule and within budgetary guidelines.  CD’s background in construction is advantageous to understand challenges faced by contractors and ultimately helps facilitate seamless project solutions for clients.  Mr. Wolford’s project experience includes air sampling, project monitoring and inspections for institutional clients, K-12 educational clients and heavy commercial/manufacturing facilities.  CD is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

Mark Meehan, Senior Designer, has been with the firm for nineteen years. He has over 34 years of experience in the environmental industry and is routinely involved in building inspections, risk assessments, abatement or renovation design, project oversight and air quality monitoring.  He coordinates and performs mold, indoor air quality and industrial hygiene investigations as well.  Mark’s project experience includes a variety of environmental assignments for many educational institutions and government facilities.

Scott Bryant, Senior EHS Consultant Scott Bryant is a licensed Professional Geologist with more than 32 years of varied geological and hydrogeological consulting experience primarily in hazardous waste site investigations; hydrogeologic investigations; underground storage tank investigations; Phase I environmental site assessments and property acquisition/divestiture assessments; vapor intrusion investigations/sampling and sub-slab depressurization system installation; building and site decommissioning activities, multi-media sampling investigations; and computer database management system software development.  His responsibilities have included the design, management and implementation of numerous field investigations, subcontractor, client, State Agency and USEPA coordination, and report preparation.

Scott has direct experience managing numerous environmental due diligence, investigation/remediation and other project activities for large chemical manufacturing facilities, including quarterly/annual groundwater and surface water analytical data management and reporting, multiple site investigations to evaluate nature and extent of free product, conceptual site model (CSM)/remedial system optimization (RSO) development, landfill gauging/monitoring, wastewater treatment plant sludge characterization for hazardous waste delisting, site-wide inspections for compliance with the NYSDEC Part 373 Permit and other assorted projects.

Project/ field operations manager for dozens of site investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA, ISRA, and other federal and state programs. In addition managed over one thousand Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and/or limited Environmental Compliance Evaluations at various commercial, industrial and telecommunications properties throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Mexico, Trinidad, Europe, and southeastern Asia.

Frank McKeon, Construction & Industrial Health & Safety has more than 30 years of experience in the practice and management of environmental, construction and project management, in addition to the design and implementation of health, safety, industrial hygiene, hazard, risk mitigation and management systems and programs. Frank has designed and implemented working programs and processes that achieved the protection of the environment, employees along with compliance of legal/regulatory requirements. Frank has managed construction and environmental remediation projects ranging from brownfield reclamation, marine based construction, power plant construction, and nuclear plant construction, renovation and modification. Frank has previous experience in the private sector including the hospitality, construction, paper and energy fields and the public sector in the utility, transportation and defense sectors providing both in house and external consultancy services. With his extensive experience within both the private and public sectors, he has a comprehensive expertise in the design and implementation of management oversite processes, environmental, health and safety management systems and risk assessment and mitigation strategies that meet the business, regulatory, and employee health and safety drivers that are critical for success. Frank has presented his expertise to a variety of Fortune 500 companies and public entities.

Frank has managed construction projects involving bridges, New York State Canal System (Erie Canal/Lake Champlain) lock reconstruction/rehabilitation. Army Corp. of Engineer’s waterway and lock repair, rehabilitation, renovation and restoration. Managed construction projects for freshwater intakes for public and private water systems, nuclear and co-generation power plants’, cooling towers and water infrastructure systems, refineries and chemical processing plants, micro-chip Fabs and clean rooms, public infrastructure including; potable water, storm water and sanitary sewer, convention centers and hotels.
Designed, implemented and managed over 250 million dollars in asbestos, lead and hazardous waste remediation projects for various Fortune 500 companies and public-sector agencies.

Provided project design, implementation, project and safety oversite, On-Site Safety and Compliance Officer (OSSCO), training and regular project briefings for Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation’s (BMPC) GOCO facilities operated for Department of the Navy’s Naval Reactors (NR) and Naval Nuclear Laboratories (NNL) for a variety of major infrastructure, operational and facility enhancement projects.

Mark Meehan, Training Director, has over 34 years of experience in the environmental industry.  He has conducted AHERA asbestos inspections/management plans, inspections for renovations/demolitions, written variances and project specifications, provided regulatory advice as a consultant/project monitor, provided air monitoring and conducted the actual remediation of asbestos/hazardous materials.  His clients include K-12 educational institutions, public/commercial buildings and large industrial facilities.  Mark has instructed all the EPA asbestos-related courses for over 10 years.

Teilah Morrison, Laboratory Director, is a graduate of the University at Albany with a B.S. Degree in Biology and also retains an active NYS RN license. Teilah has over 9 years’ experience analyzing asbestos air and bulk samples and has been the Laboratory Director at Ambient for 3 years. She is also QA/QC document trained and experienced for laboratory purposes.  Teilah coordinates all aspects of client relations keeping the laboratory operational around the clock if a client need arises.[
